What kinds of flexible jobs are out there for older workers? We take a look.
At Diddi Dance we enhance children’s endless energy through funky, full of fun dance sessions that increase confidence, coordination & creativity in children under 5 years old.
We are the only preschool dance provider that covers 16 different dance styles with lesson plans that enhance & compliment the EYFS framework. As an award-winning service provider & franchise company we are passionate about our mission – to get children moving!
Diddi Dance started in 2003 when a lack in preschool dance classes from children 16 months upward that allowed them to freely explore movement in a fun yet structured environment was noticed. In 2006, after Diddi Dance’s initial sucess, it was realised that a flexible business opportunity for individuals wanting to find that perfect work/life balance was possible.
With a proven franchise system that has been running for over 10 years, more than 40 franchises running across the UK, accreditations & endorsements from both the Children’s Activities Association (CAA) & Exercise Movement Dance UK (EMDUK) and more than 10 franchise industry awards to date we have found our franchise opportunity works perfectly for individuals who want to be in business for themselves, not by themselves.
At Diddi Dance we are looking for highly motivated individuals who have the passion & drive to run their own business and make it a success, but just need the assistance & guidance in setting one up.
You don’t need to be a qualified dance teacher to be a Diddi Dance Franchisee. At Diddi Dance we don’t teach technique but the enjoyment of moving to music. We are therefore looking for the people with the right attitude & enthusiasm to engage preschoolers.
Whether you’re a parent/ex-dancer/ex-business employee our franchise package can suit anyone who wants to run their own business. The success of the themes & lesson plans offer so much reward and the financial returns are high for low set up costs. Our franchise package provides branding, training, ongoing support and much more.
A Diddi Dance Franchise requires an initial investment of just £4,995 +VAT and you will also need enough cash to support yourself and your business during the set-up phase. With a great reputation and business model, Diddi Dance has secured preferential loan opportunities for potential franchisees, subject to personal status.
Other than the initial cost, the costs of setting up a typical home-based office, acquiring equipment for your franchise as well as marketing materials needs to be taken into consideration too.
Our Franchise Package includes:
I had been working as a dance and performing arts teacher for 12 years and although I loved my job I had become increasingly stressed and unhappy with it. After attending baby/toddler yoga classes with my son it struck me that this or a similar type of business was something I could do easily with the skills I had and that it could provide me with a much more flexible, enjoyable and rewarding way of making a living.
Not long after, my son came home from nursery with stickers on his t-shirts saying I’m a diddi dancer and I straight away began looking into exactly what diddi dance was & whether it was the business opportunity I had been waiting for. Although I considered working as a freelance dance teacher or even opening up my own dance school, I felt that a franchise with a well established brand would be a much better option for me having little previous business experience.
I started researching children’s franchises and found that diddi dance was the one that suited me best as it would allow me to continue using my skills & love of dance and it was very good value for money compared to many of the other well-know children’s franchises.
I’m now 3 years in and very happy that I made the big decision to change my career and become my own boss. It was difficult at first to get to grips with the business side of things, however, with a great support network of Head Office and the other franchisees I feel I have learnt and achieved so much.
I thoroughly enjoy running my diddi dance and I’m very proud of the business & reputation I have built in my area but a lot of this is thanks to having a fantastic product/service and trusted brand behind me to begin with so for me certainly, buying a franchise was the right decision.
