workingwise.co.uk is launching its annual survey, sponsored by Santander Consumer Finance, the results of which will be released in our second National Older Workers Week in November.
How have you fared work-wise over the last year? Is the cost of living affecting your decisions about work and life? workingwise.co.uk is conducting its annual survey, looking to find out what older workers want and need.
The results will be revealed at the start of the second National Older Workers Week [NOWW] in November.
The survey, sponsored by Santander Consumer Finance, covers everything from older workers’ experience of the recruitment process, any perceived ageism in the process and in promotional opportunities and access to training, attitudes to flexible working, retirement plans, attitudes and experience of changing jobs, whether what older workers are looking for in a job has changed over the years, caring responsibilities and health issues, particularly as a result of Covid.
National Older Workers Week sponsor Phoenix Group is also offering anyone looking to support people looking to change direction through free places with the organisation Brave Starts and workingwise.co.uk is interested in finding out how it can better support those returning to work from a career gap.
Those taking part in the survey will have the chance of winning vouchers worth £250.
National Older Workers Week, draws on research and best practice to help organisations develop policies and procedures that both attract and retain older workers and ensure their organisation is age diverse. It will also provide advice, support and inspirational case studies which will help jobseekers improve their confidence during their job search.
The week runs from the 21st – 25th November 2022 and includes four free online events, the first three for employers and the last for candidates:
