Sky Creative is Sky's European Brand and Creative hub providing Brand Strategy, Brand Design, Advertising, Promotions and Broadcast Creative for multiple stakeholders across our European Markets.

 

The hub will consist of an in-house capability and a matrix of external agency and post production partners.

The Account Director will be responsible to manage marketing campaigns aligned to one of the business verticals (sky content/ sky products / sky ticket).

 

What you'll do:

 

  • Partner with the Creative Director to lead a project team including creative, production and strategy to deliver effective advertising campaigns.Ensure clear client briefs are received on time and crafted for the creative and production teams to work from.Accountable for contact reports and project updates, to be cascaded to both internal and external teams as part of owning and driving the plan forward.Champion collaboration across all department to create fully joined up, through-the-line creative campaigns.Work with Head of Commercial Ops & Production teams to forward plan activity and ensure shifting plans for work are managed, recognised and escalated as necessary.Actively ensure relevant stakeholder approval on all creative work at every stage of the project.Accountable for the overall fiscal control and rigour of projects. Collaborate with production to ensure budgeting, tracking and reporting is efficient and accurate.Anticipate risks and issues, proactively recommend solutions at all stages of the strategic/creative/production development process.Distil complex creative and business ideas into simple narratives and sell them in at HoD level and above that help achieve business goals.Present in a confident manner, manage feedback effectively and negotiate in a pragmatic way when required, while driving for clear and consolidated feedback.Manage the relationship with Marketing, media agency and others across multiple territories to enable the best, joined-up creative output across all briefs within the parameters we set.

What you'll bring:

 

The successful candidate will have a fundamental understanding of TTL advertising creative & branding. They will be able to balance the demands of operational detail with simplicity of communication and the ability to present to and influence senior leaders across the organisation.

Specific skills and experience required includes:

 

  • Fluent in German and English 5+ years of Account Management experience in leading large, complex fully integrated campaigns.Proven track record of working within a high-performing team in agile and fast-paced environments across multiple territories. Good commercial understanding and proven experience running projects to budget and time. Thorough understanding of the time scales involved in creative development and delivery - managing internal teams to support and deliver on time and to the required standard.Natural skills in building and maintaining relationships at a very senior level, e.g. Head of Department, with evidence of turning these into success stories at the highest level.Evidence of successfully leading creative processes and keeping creative teams on track during development, exercising excellent judgement about how and when this is done.Ability to present clear creative and business narratives in a concise and confident manner to senior stakeholders, e.g. HoDs and Marketing Directors.Proven track record of aligning complex stakeholder groups to achieve a common goal and delivering complex projects.Passion and enthusiasm for the power of creativity to help solve business problems with an ability to input strategically on briefs and add value during the creative development process.Experience working across a breadth of creative disciplines and an understanding of how to get different creative functions to collaborate for a better output.The ability to maintain a high-level, customer-focused, strategic outlook but get into the detail when an issue requires it.A reciprocal working style with a pragmatic, proactive and positive attitude towards solving problems creatively.
