The Retention Trading Performance Lead is responsible for tracking, forecasting, communicating and driving Sky's weekly Retention trading performance across both Loyalty Stay (Customer Retention)and Loyalty change (Product Retention) channels

 

They will need to be strong collaborators with the Route to Market, Trading Performance, Base management, Customer Service group and Finance teams to ensure the Sky leadership team makes informed and timely decisions.

 


What you'll do:

 

- Lead the weekly Retention trading cycle ( Friday MD trading session and Monday UK Exec trading submission
- Produce Value add insight on latest performance trends utilising your own teams expertise and inputs from all wider teams who support Retention performance
- Forecasting - Own in quarter LV updates and tracking risk and opportunity vs plan.
- Trading Management - Direct wider teams on when and how to act and position these recommendations to the Retention leadership team
- Own the message - Be the voice of in quarter Retention performance within Sky
- Leadership -Effectively lead a team of 5 people to deliver the processes and outputs needed to deliver all of the above and support each team members career development needs.

 


What you'll bring:

 

- Brilliant collaborator, able to work across a matrix organisation with the product owners, Trading teams, Customer Service group and finance to ensure the Sky leadership team makes informed and timely decisions..
- Highly numerate and analytical combined with excellent communication skills to present findings in written, PowerPoint, spreadsheet and verbal format to senior stakeholders.
- Experienced in fast paced work environments with large & complex data, delivering quick decision making that is commercial. Sectors might include but are not limited to, telecoms, Media, Pharmaceuticals, FMCG.
- Effective leader who takes time to coach and develop team (Team of 3 people)
- Solid working understanding of key financial performance indicators and how these are to be used when making decisions and recommendations.
- Self-starter able to identify trends, issues and challenges - a real get up and go attitude to tackle issues head on and who responds positively to change and/or ambiguity.
- Tireless and results driven mentality, able to continually critique and optimise performance with a Positive mind-set.
- Strong excel skills and experience of financial modelling
- Confident and credible, able to present work up to the Director of Performance, with excellent written, verbal, PowerPoint and spreadsheet communication skill
