You will join our Indirect Tax team in London and will provide indirect tax reporting support to businesses operating in the EMEA region.

In this role, you will take a critical role across a range of activities working alongside all levels of the Financial Management Group in London and India and will be responsible for:

  • end-to-end indirect tax return process management
  • identifying opportunities to streamline and automate processes to reduce risk and improve efficiency
  • focusing on data governance
  • technical review of indirect tax calculations and
  • submission of indirect tax returns across EMEA.

You will use your expert knowledge of indirect tax and experience of working for large companies/consolidated groups to liaise with businesses to understand transactions and ensure they are correctly reflected in tax submissions.

To thrive in this role, you will be a qualified accountant or tax advisor with 5+ years’ experience in indirect taxes, ideally gained from working within the EMEA Financial Services industry or another large corporate organisation. You may also have multi-national tax accounting and compliance experience.

Critical to this role is your ability to balance multiple assignments, successfully manage work plans in an autonomous environment and actively take responsibility and ownership for issues impacting your own tasks.  

You will demonstrate effective communication skills and enjoy internal and external stakeholder management and relationship building, providing subject matter expertise and commerciality.
