This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join our Green Investment Group’s rapidly growing offshore wind business and support the transition to a low carbon, sustainable global economy.

The Green Investment Group’s global offshore wind business is responsible for the successful management and delivery of a pipeline of 15+ GW of offshore wind projects, the origination of new opportunities and partnerships as well as the provision of asset management and advisory services to third party investors.

In this newly created role, you will report to the Senior Financial Controller of GIG’s global Offshore Wind business as an integral member of the overall Finance team to provide analysis and insight on the Global Offshore Wind business, and design and take accountability for the budgeting, internal forecasting, business performance analysis and decision support processes. This is a unique opportunity to design and implement the F,P & A process for the business, adopting best practice and the highest standards of control and integrity.

You will own the analysis of the business’s results, and the preparation of forecast, budget and scenario analysis for internal management and reporting. You will also provide ad hoc decision support activities, including driving strategic initiatives and supporting the whole Offshore Wind business.

You will use your strong relationship building skills to engage with and influence a variety of key stakeholders across the business and think strategically in order to continue to identify process improvement opportunities and create and realise efficiencies.

You will have hold an accounting qualification (or equivalent) with a minimum significant experience leading an FP&A team in a complex organisation. You will have outstanding communication skills and strong relationship management skills. A well-developed attention to detail with capacity to appreciate the “big picture” as well as prior experience of working in an analytical role in a fast-paced and dynamic environment will hold you in good stead to be successful in this role.
