The Financial Services Compensation Scheme, the UK's statutory deposit insurance and investors compensation scheme for customers of financial services firms, require a Solicitor to join them on a permanent basis.

As a valued member of this busy team you will be responsible for providing legal support, advice and guidance on all issues pertaining to the operation of the FSCS Recoveries function. You will take on a diverse and varied caseload covering areas including but not limited to: regulatory law matters, conduct of litigation, Insolvency law, pensions law and international investments matters. You will also be required to liaise with the FCA, HMT and Bank of England, other regulators, prosecuting authorities, MPs and other professional bodies.

To apply you must be a UK qualified Solicitor or Barrister with significant and relevant post qualification experience within financial services and regulatory law. Good work / life balance and flexible working available.
