This is a great opportunity to join our expanding Software Licensing team who are responsible for the management and compliance of our software and licensing posture across the whole of the business.

Summary of Role

The successful applicant will be part of the Software Licensing team responsible for the pro-active management and compliance of Next’s software and licensing posture across all business functions globally. Working closely with systems and central procurement teams the Software Licensing Analyst will be responsible for the day to day execution of the software request and fulfilment processes, as well as creation and execution of Next Technology reporting requirements including Cloud Billing.

Responsibilities

The role includes but is not limited to the delivery of Software Management/Software Licensing services to internal customers across multiple business areas. You will be part of the owning team of the Software Asset Management Tools, ensuring Software Discovery is always up-to-date and that the coverage is sufficient to ensure that all required data is captured across the organisation.

You will have demonstrable skill in analysing large data sets to a high degree of accuracy. As well as an understanding of the importance of data integrity and the need for accurate reporting within IT Licensing. This role will also include Cloud Billing Analysis using PowerBI and other reporting requirements.

The successful candidate will join a team responsible for the delivery of the software request and fulfillment process across the Next estate, including ticket management and licensing recommendations.

In addition the successful candidate may be required to work outside of normal business hours.

Criteria Essential

 

  • Confident in analysing multiple large data sets Strong Excel/Google Sheets experience Demonstrable attention to detail Experience in tool management Enjoy challenges and have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team Excellent written and oral communication skills

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a SAM or licensing role Use of Snow License Manager tool Experience using PowerBI
