Want to do the best work of your life? Make your mark at Europe's leading entertainment brand. Our people make Sky a truly exciting and inclusive place to work - a place where you can be yourself and let your skills shine.

Over the last few years, Sky Retail has continued to innovate and has become a market leader in the mid-mall retail space. As we look to the future, we're reviewing ways we can continue building a strong route to market, amplify our presence within the retail space and create even better experiences for our customers by opening physical shops.

What will I be doing?

In your new role as a Team Leader, you'll be deployed in one of our busy Retail Shops, leading and supporting a team of Retail Shop Advisors and fostering a team sales approach. You'll also ensure that they're showcasing our superb products in the correct way. You'll be inspiring, coaching, mentoring, and motivating your team, and making sure they have the knowledge and tools they need to give our customers an excellent experience when they buy or upgrade a Sky package.

What skills do I need to succeed?

We're looking for born leaders who can build successful sales teams filled with team members who want to perform to the best of their ability every day of the week. You'll be used to coaching staff and improving performance, as well as giving sales tips and training on-the-go. You'll need to be highly organised and flexible too, spending time across your shop and with your team.

Will I get help and support?

This one is a no-brainer for us. We invest in every member of staff in our business to ensure that they can excel in their roles and you'll spend your first few weeks being inducted, with a comprehensive training programme that will give you the tools to succeed in your new role. We'll also keep giving you plenty of training that will open doors to new development and growth opportunities.

What about the perks?

You'll get 28 days of annual leave, private health and dental care, and loads of great high street discounts. You'll also receive free Sky Q, phone and broadband at home, so you'll be able to tell your customers just how exciting Sky products actually are!

Where you'll work:

Your base site will be in Edinburgh, St James' Quarter, EH1 3SR, however due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, we're having to flex our recruitment and working practices to ensure we keep you and our staff safe. If you're invited to an interview, it's likely this will be a virtual interview using video, and we'll do our best to make the process smooth and straight forward for you.

Should you be successful for this role, it's likely you'll need to spend some of your time working from home to begin with, but we'll talk to you about this in more detail at the right time.

Interested?

So, what are you waiting for? Apply now for a chance to craft your own career path and be brilliant.

It's our people that make Sky Europe's leading entertainment company. That's why we work hard to be an inclusive employer, so everyone at Sky can be their best.

Just so you know: if your application is successful, we'll ask you to complete a criminal record check. And depending on the role you have applied for and the nature of any convictions, we might withdraw the offer.
