The role is within the in our fast-paced Hardware product engineering team, supporting products that help expand Sky's portfolio.

 

You will work with multiple stakeholders and enjoy an exciting working environment where personal development is a key value of the team.

 

What you'll do:

 

  • Be the main conduit between engineering and product teams.Be involved in a multitude of products from inception to delivery across all streams. Understand schematic design and CAD PCB layout.Involved in hardware test and qualificationBe across EMC and RF testing citing any potential issues for the end userWork with SW/HW and project teams across the business from an E2E perspective. Support the Product team on all design aspects and issues.Feed information into engineering team from product around choices of HWWork with the Compliance teams to ensure new designs meet all applicable regulatory standards.

What you'll bring:

 

  • Great understanding of HW and engineering principles within the fieldCommunication skills - being the main POC for a multitude of teams and a calm demeanour. Expert at adapting, wearing multiple hats - be it from engineering, product or the end user perspective in order to identify the right decision for the end user. Hardware design/product delivery experience within consumer electronic devicesClear communicator able of exchanging ideas or summarising technical information with an appropriate level of detail, depending on audience.Self-motivated individual who can work in a fast-paced environment.

Where you'll work:

 

Our location takes some beating: we're practically in Brentwood station, which has regular trains to London Liverpool Street. If you find it easier to drive, there's some onsite parking, while Chatham Way car park is a short walk away
