"As a technical specialist, you will be a key player in the facilities team onsite in Burlington Plaza, forming effective working relationships with people at all levels in both in-house and with our WFH staff." - Facilities Manager

 


What you'll do:

 

* Monitoring an email helpdesk and various triage routes. Prioritising all incidents received and adhering to audit controls in place and departmental SLA's.
* Advising and assisting team members with service provision and technical knowledge.
* Actively seeking new fixes and updating the Knowledgebase.
* Highlighting potential trends and raising the Problem Record.
* Produce reports for management on queue statistics and any other adhoc reports identified by line management.
* Supporting Team Leaders and managers in delivering SLA, resource management and call queue management when required.
* Supporting new services and products into the team by attending training sessions and delivering support documentation for the knowledge base.
* Work closely with other support teams within Workplace Technology to reduce call volumes to the Service Desk by identifying permanent fixes for problem records raised.
* Work closely with computacentre to maximise efficiency and recording all hardware orders.

 


What you'll bring:

 

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrating the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels.
* Extensive software and hardware knowledge. An IT related 3rd level certificate or degree would be preferable but not essential.
* The ability to work effectively as a team player and as an individual.
* Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage in a fast paced environment.
* A flexible approach and understanding, with the ability to "think on the move" and react quickly to ever-changing business needs.
* A proven track record in delivering outstanding customer service within a contact centre environment.
* A confident individual with strong influencing skills and the ability to effectively manage conflict.
* A self-starter who has excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive, enthusiastic "can do" attitude.
