In this role you will mainly be involved with Eurosport. The channel is currently moving in a new technology
transformation for all countries in Europe based on a hybrid architecture on premise and cloud.


The London and Paris team manage the engineering and support of this new group surrounded by two
playout centres and all the markets in Europe from Eurosport.

Responsibilities
 

The MAM & Post Production Broadcast Engineer is part of the ACS Team (Automation and Content Solutions) providing engineering and level 2 support on playout, MAM and Post-Prod platform in a virtualized hybrid on-premised and cloud environment. This role is based in Chiswick Park, London working on a shift rota pattern. 


Engineering:
▪ Short-Term project management
▪ Gather workflow requirements in all Eurosport offices
▪ Write workflow, project and engineering documents
▪ Workflow centralized and design on Playout, MAM and Post-Production


Support:
▪ Level 2 support
▪ Ensure updates are shared on the platform day to day with the support level 1 engineers
▪ Plan maintenance
▪ Upgrade phases and reboot action coordination
▪ Responsibile for the global health of the system


Qualifications
 

Capacity to work in a constantly changing environment


Strong team member with self-motivation and consistent customer service

Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills

Extensive experience in Broadcast Technology in a support or engineering role

Experience in either a Sport, News, Production and Documentary environment

Experience with playout automation

Experience with MAM and Post-Production tools

Extensive Broadcast technical background (IP video 2110, AES 67, NMOS, video and audio
formats and codec…)

Good understanding of IT technologies and the associated challenge (network, virtualization,
storage, cloud services, security…)

Following technology intelligence to permanently keep the system efficient for business
growth

 

A Degree in Technology, Engineering or equivalent experience
