Exciting new role: Team Lead for Buy in service, Highly specialist Speech & Language Therapist, Band 7
Salary £37,570 - £43,772 + HCAS £4743

Bromley Healthcare are investing in our Children’s Speech and Language Therapy service with opportunities across the board covering a school buy in service and our core health activities.
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated band 7 Speech and Language Therapist with a range of specialist skills to join our friendly and supportive team on a permanent all year basis to lead our buy in service for schools. You will need to be highly motivated and enthusiastic with an ability to work independently but also work well within a team.
We are looking to recruit a Specialist SLT who is experienced in working with children in mainstream schools, specialist provisions and special schools and in leading a team . Training in ADOS is desirable.
You will work with our buy in schools with a mixed paediatric caseload who have a range of speech, language and communication needs. You will be responsible for the management, assessment and treatment of the children on these caseloads by the schools buy in team. You will use your clinical expertise to provide supervision and training to the wider organisation including other health professionals and agencies.
You will work with the SLT service lead and business and finance teams to arrange, organise and manage contracts with schools. This will require excellent communication and organisational skills. You will be responsible for timetabling of staff to schools and covering sickness and annual leave by working across all schools as required.
Successful band 7 applicants will provide leadership and operational management to the SLT team and will have developed skills in a specialist area.

Salary is dependant on NHS experience and current banding/pay point, applicants from outside the NHS will receive the start point of the salary scale in line with NHS terms & conditions.
