We are looking for a highly motivated, organised and experienced Quantity Surveyor with a proven track record in infrastructure construction to join the Barking Riverside Infrastructure Team.

Reporting to the Managing Surveyor BRL, the Senior Quantity Surveyor is accountable for all commercial and contractual matters of several infrastructure projects at any given time and will run the projects from inception to completion. The candidate shall have a vision of driving the best value for Barking Riverside Limited via procurement and contractual management.

Applicants will have to demonstrate a record of achievement in a similar role with experience in infrastructure projects and hold relevant quantity surveying qualifications.  You will have excellent communication skills and a demonstrable track record of building strong stakeholder relationships at all levels.

Barking Riverside London is a joint venture between the Mayor of London and L&Q to deliver a quality led new riverfront town in East London comprising of 10,800 homes, a new rail station, new schools and commercial and cultural offerings along 2km of south-facing Thames river frontage.
