Our technology platform supports our Sky engineers installing and servicing Sky products in customers homes in addition to ensuring that Broadcast teams are in the right place at the right time for Sky News, Sports and Studios productions. As an Application Support Engineer, you'll be responsible for supporting and maintaining business critical services across a number of core applications.

 


What you'll do:

 

- Support and develop Workforce Management Applications running on Oracle Field Service and Salesforce Field Service.
- Support internal Java based services that interface with 3rd party cloud services. This may include out of hours, on call support.
- Deliver code fixes and enhancements, working with key stakeholders to understand and agree requirements.
- Support and analyse operational incidents to understand platform performance and deliver improvements.
- Build effective relationships across technical and business teams to deliver first class platform performance and service to our stakeholders.
- Liaise with 3rd party software providers to ensure delivery of new functionality and fixes meet specifications and are deployed successfully.

 


What you'll bring:

 

- Experience working in an IT support role, preferably with experience of Oracle Field Service or Salesforce Field Service.
- Experience of Java, JavaScript, SQL, in addition to Salesforce Apex and Lightning Web Components.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and team working skills.
- Excellent diagnostic, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to take ownership of work, prioritise effectively and deliver to a high level of detail while always looking to add value to each task.
