Working alongside the Operations Manager you will be responsible
for planning, coordinating and managing the teams operational activities and key season events. You will have a passion for continuous improvement and be able to get stuck in when required.
 

You will:

• Be responsible for for 1st line monitoring of the online platforms such as Next.co.uk
• Be responsible for the Operational Development team Lead a team of developers working on bug fixes to the online platforms
• Be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing key season events such as Sale Drive continuous improvement within the team
• Lead from a technical perspective and improve team knowledge, expertise and processes

Criteria

Essential Criteria
 

Team Management Experience and excellent communication skills Strong problem solving skills with the capability to understand existing systems and the impact of change.

The ability to plan and prioritise assigned work and activities for your team to ensure that planned release dates are met.

To have the aptitude and enthusiasm to develop the skills of your team. To be able to work effectively under pressure.

Experience working in an agile, scrum and kanban environments

Knowledge of T-SQL, Queries and Join commands

Knowledge of of web development, ASP.NET MVC, C# and Javascript

Be able to identify process improvements and implement them

Desirable Criteria

• In depth experience of ASP.NET MVC, C#, Javascript and CSS In depth experience of T-SQL Experience of leading an Operational/Support team Experience of ecommerce web applications
