This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our Green Investment Group and support the transition to a low carbon, sustainable global economy.

Working on behalf of Green Investment Group and based on site in Glasgow with a key client, the Project Manager will coordinate the review of technical submissions with technical consultants, and check works packages for alignment with the project objectives, reviewing key aspects of the project delivery and undertaking the necessary administration and reporting functions. 

You will be responsible for briefing the Steering Committee on various project matters and their potential implications, mitigation, opportunities and/or remedies, and participate in risk reviews, meetings and other project forums to help maintain alignment on project objectives and delivery. You will work closely with external consultants to undertake specific design reviews, providing advice and guidance to the project delivery team on UK specific waste industry or project delivery issues.

To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified engineer with strong project, commercial and construction experience ideally on Energy from Waste projects.  You will have at least 10 years of professional experience in a similar role, working alongside a project execution team, reviewing procurement packages, specifications, payment claims and design submissions for compliance with the project objectives and contractual agreements.  You will also work closely our Portfolio Management team undertaking internal reporting and supporting our Steering Committee representatives in project decision making.
