Take ownership of your career and join our Macquarie Capital legal team, based in London. The team sits within and works alongside the Macquarie Capital business group and has day-to-day interaction with the Macquarie Capital and Green Investment Group deal teams based in London, Edinburgh, Frankfurt, Paris, Amsterdam and Johannesburg and was recently named Financial Services Team of the Year (Legal 500 UK Awards 2020).

You will provide robust legal advice (including reviewing and negotiating transaction documents), focused on the Infrastructure and Energy business in the Macquarie Capital and Green Investment Group business, including mergers & acquisitions, financing and disposals by Macquarie Capital and Green Investment Group as principal investor, consortium and joint venture arrangements, development and construction stage infrastructure and renewables investments, public private partnerships and project finance. You will also be involved with coordinating and managing the provision of external legal advice to Macquarie Capital and Green Investment Group and assisting in dispute resolution.

You are an experienced M&A Lawyer with 3-7 years’ post qualified experience in your relevant jurisdiction and have strong experience in either mergers and acquisitions or projects (candidates with both and/or strong infrastructure M&A experience preferred), gained from working in a law firm or in-house. Experience working on infrastructure and/or renewables projects would be beneficial as would Spanish language skills.

Organised and proactive in your approach, you will bring initiative, self-direction and a high attention to detail. Your strong sense of personal motivation will see you complete projects and provide advice in a timely manner.
