Join our Commodities and Global Markets business as an Analyst in our Upstream Lending team in London.

You will be responsible for originating, structuring and delivering / managing complex transactions as part of a team specialising in the provision of finance (primarily structured debt, reserve based lending, prepayments, etc) to upstream oil & gas companies, focused on the EMEA region.

Main activities will involve transaction origination, structuring, risk assessment, negotiation, documentation & ongoing deal/relationship management post close.

Ideally you will have some sales and origination experience, preferably gained in a utility, energy major, research unit or a financial institution.

Knowledge of upstream oil and gas would be useful. A detailed understanding of financial modelling / MS Excel is critical.

We would value candidates educated to Masters level in a relevant subject with a focus on numerical analysis, although this is not essential.
