Location:      West Region,  Based in L&Q West (Slough and surrounding patches)

Contract:      Permanent, Full time 40 hours per week

Salary:     Starting from £15.55 per hour (GBP 32,357pa rising to GBP 33,327pa following successful completion of 6 months' probation) plus benefits

L&Q are looking for a number of Customer Focused, high performing Plumber with additional skills to be part of their in-house Maintenance Team. We have openings within our North Region, West Neighbourhood covering Uxbridge, Hounslow, Slough and Twickenham postcodes. The focus will be on high quality work, outstanding customer service and a right first time attitude. 

The role will be dealing with all aspects of Plumbing repairs and replacements of sinks water tanks, and bathrooms In addition to plumbing you will have associated skills and experience in basic carpentry, tiling, painting/decorating and patch plastering repairs

Our Operatives are supplied with an L&Q van (business use only), uniform and PPE equipment.  You will begin the day from your home address where you will travel to jobs which are distributed to your PDA (hand-held device).

The Person

  • Working knowledge of a building and/or housing environment
  • Able to deliver excellent customer service (essential)
  • Relevant City and Guilds/NVQ qualifications (or qualified by experience)
  • Able to use a PDA and Smartphone
  • Full driving licence (essential)
  • Unvented Certificate preferable 
  • Must have own hand tools (larger tools and specialist equipment will be arranged if needed)
