 Nursing & Rehabilitation Assistant, Band 2

£18,005 - £19,337 per annum + HCAS £3,784 per annum

 

We are currently looking for Nursing Rehab Assistants to join our dynamic, friendly team who are patient focused and thrive on providing quality care to work within our Home Pathway Rehabilitation Service.

You would be joining a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Support Workers, Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Social Workers. Your role would be to provide personal care and basic nursing support to the patients as well as helping them with their rehabilitation.

This role will entail:

  • Assisting patient with daily needs
  • Rehabilitation in the form of exercise plans, washing and dressing, mobilization and gym exercises
  • Scope to move to nursing based  tasks e.g. patient observations

This role will be suitable for candidates who have a background in healthcare.

We are not looking for clinical qualifications: we’ll give you all the training you need. Additionally, we’ll give you all the support you need to advance and grow your career. There are opportunities to develop your nursing skills and you will gain valuable experience of working with a great multi-disciplinary team in a healthcare setting.

For this opportunity you will need a full UK driving licence and a vehicle that you are able to use for work purposes.

Salary is dependant on NHS experience and current banding/pay point, applicants from outside the NHS will receive the start point of the salary scale in line with NHS terms & conditions.
