Job description

We are looking for a talented individual who will lead/manage the high profile and business critical OASIS project and the project team on a day-to-day basis as the solution goes Live. You will be responsible for driving and overseeing the delivery of the project in line with the wider ASIO business transformation change programme, to ensure that the objectives are clearly defined and achieved within the agreed timeline and constraints.

As IT Systems Product Owner You will play a key role in project governance and working with key internal and external stakeholders, to ensure the agreed project outputs are delivered to enable benefits to be realised. This opportunity provides a unique chance to be at the forefront of implementing significant business change across the ASIO Division.
 

Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to;

• Manage and owning the relationships between interspersed internal and external organisations that serve OASIS, including the internal Digital Service IT Team, ASIO business functions and third-party delivery partners, which can either be individual consultants or large technology delivery organisations

• Leading OASIS through major events within its lifecycle – from go-live, to enhancements, through to retirement – owning its roadmap

• Lead procurement activity where required to identify technically proficient and accredited organisations capable of delivering enhancements to OASIS, prioritising quality against cost and speed

• Managing the onboarding of successful third-party delivery organisations, including but not limited to assisting with the drafting of contractual documentation to ensure all suppliers are appropriately governed

• Manage contracts and relationships between DFT and third party / external contractors and service suppliers

About You

To thrive in this role, you will hold demonstrable experience in managing internal and external stakeholder expectations, proven leadership skills, a keen eye for detail and experience in the following areas:

• Experience of working within an agile delivery methodology incl. but not limited to, creating and refining user stories, working within sprints, organising and conducting user acceptance testing cycles

• Knowledge and experience of Microsoft products, including Power Apps and Power Automate

• Experience of using collaborative tools, i.e. JIRA, Confluence

• Working within the constraints of secure systems and technology to deliver applications that can handle data of a sensitive nature

• Experience of working with multiple internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver on business requirements

• Good influencing and persuasion skills with the ability to enthuse and inspire multidisciplinary teams and build successful relationships at all levels

Things you need to know Security
