This is a great opportunity to join the Development, Construction and Asset Management Business (“DCA”) of the Green Investment Group as an Accounts Executive to help support the transition to a low carbon, sustainable global economy. You will work in the DCA Team with responsibility for our solar and other onshore renewable development investments. You will report to the Commercial Asset Manager of the DCA.

You will work closely with Green Investment Group’s development partners in the development of renewable energy projects and will support the Commercial Asset Manager in ensuring Green Investment Group’s standards of financial control and operational risk requirements are incorporated into all projects. In addition, you will be responsible for maintenance of the supplier database and the inputting of Accounts Payable invoices ensuring correct ledger coding. You will also raise Accounts Receivable invoices ensuring adherence to contract terms and timing. You will also manage credit control ensuring the timely receipt of amounts owed. All of these activities will include working closely with our platform partners.

The role is based in Edinburgh.

To perform at the right level in this position, you will have at least 2-3 years’ experience in a financial administration role, having operational accounts payable/receivable/credit experience as well as some exposure to financial reporting. Furthermore, you will be able to work effectively and collaboratively as a member of a small team, have  excellent stakeholder engagement and a high level of accuracy and a keen interest in process improvement. Foreign language skills would also be desirable.
