About Auto Trader

We’re Auto Trader, the UK's leading automotive marketplace and a FTSE 100 tech-listed company, uniting the largest and most engaged consumer audience with the most extensive network of vehicle sellers. At our core, it's all about people. We embrace diversity, celebrate our differences, and forge our own path. Our six core values define our distinct culture, and our dedication to in-person collaboration sets us apart.

About the job

We're looking for a Partner Support Analyst to join our Customer Operations tribe to provide excellent support for the 200+ partners using the Auto Trader platforms to access data on behalf of our mutual retailers and our enterprise partners using our data to make amazing products.

In this first-line support role, you will provide exceptional technical support to our partners utilising Auto Trader platforms. You'll leverage your expertise to diagnose and resolve technical faults with precision.

Additionally, you'll play a key role in driving service improvement by conducting root cause analysis for incidents. Your insights will be instrumental in continuously enhancing our service delivery and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Effective communication is paramount in this role. You'll engage in clear and engaging communication with technology partners, ensuring seamless collaboration and problem resolution.

Your analytical prowess will also be put to use as you interpret large data sets for trend and root cause analysis. A basic understanding of RESTful APIs and SFTP will further support your efforts in assisting with partner integrations.

Your dedication to customer focus will shine through as you actively work to remove blockers for our valued partners, championing a customer-centric approach.

You might believe that a passion for cars is a requirement, but guess what? It’s not! At Auto Trader, you’re welcome just as you are.

What we're looking for

  • Experience in a similar tech support role, such as first-line support for partners – handling technical queries and service requests
  • Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and SFTP
  • Experience with root cause analysis
  •  Attention to detail in communications, including spelling, grammar, and wording
  • Possess a genuine analytical problem-solving mindset, capable of analysing findings in a straightforward, accessible manner
  • A pro-active mindset who seeks to actively remove blockers for customers and our technology partners
  • Prioritisation skills and ability to manage varied workloads effectively
  • Got some, but not all, of the job requirements and you feel like you'd be a great fit? Go ahead and apply! At Auto Trader, we’re passionate about diversity and inclusion. Your unique perspective and strengths could really enrich our team. So, why not give it a shot? Send in your application and let's have a chat!

Benefits and more

We're offering a salary of £27,000-£33,000, and a flexible benefits package to support your health and well-being.

Enjoy 28 days of annual leave, in addition to bank holidays and half-day closures on Christmas and New Year's Eve. Our Aviva pension scheme offers employer contributions ranging from 5% to 7%. We also provide Bupa Healthcare enhanced medical coverage to all employees, which includes support for assisted fertility, gender dysphoria, menopause, and period care plans.

But that's not all. We offer enhanced parental leave, a car salary sacrifice scheme, share-save options, and much more. When you join us, you'll also become an owner of Auto Trader, receiving an additional 10% of your salary in shares each year. Our hybrid model, Connected Working, combines the best of both worlds – office and home working. With Connected Working, you'll have two fixed weekly office days dedicated to team collaboration. In addition to your fixed office days, we expect you to be in more than you’re out. You can choose the specific days that suit your work requirements, home commitments, and team needs.
