Job Title: Senior War Pension & Armed Forces Compensation Service Case Worker
Location: Either homebased or London – Hybrid working 2 days at our Haig House, London office and 3 days from home
Contract: Permanent, Full time 35hrs Monday to Friday
Salary: £36,720 per annum or £41,172 per annum inclusive of London Supplement if hybrid working from our London office

We are looking for a Senior War Pension & Armed Forces Compensation Service Case Worker to join our War Pension & Armed Forces Compensation Service.
In the role, you will provide support to beneficiaries and War Pensions & Armed Forces Compensation Service (WP & AFCS) team through detailed knowledge of both Service Pension Order and Armed Forces Compensation Scheme legislation and advise on interpretation.
You will also develop and undertake a triage service of cases, managing and supporting those beneficiaries where the appeal does not pass the merit test for being successful at tribunal, identifying further claims whilst ensuring efficient and effective delivery of the WP & AFCS in the wider context of welfare services, ensuring that the needs of the beneficiary are at the centre of all that we do.
You will also be responsible for providing advice, guidance and representation to beneficiaries seeking a hearing in the Upper Tier.
We will provide you with tailored training to equip you with knowledge and skills to provide best service to our beneficiaries.
