Join our growing energy franchise as a Structured Energy Trader, based in our London office.

You will be responsible for the pricing and execution of cross-asset and non-linear derivatives (both vanilla & exotic) with primary focus on gas.

Under the direction of a Senior Trader you will also be involved in hedging and risk management of cross-asset and non-linear books.

In this varied and exciting role, you will also be responsible for daily PnL and position reporting as well as ad-hoc analysis to support pricing and risk management activities (working with desk analysts and quants).

You will bring experience from a previous Trading role and familiarity with European gas markets.  

It would be useful to have studied a quantitative degree and you will certainly need an understanding of the following;

•  
• Options pricing and risk management principles.
• PnL + position reporting
• Principles of complex derivation valuation and the limitations of theoretical models in pricing real-world transactions which involve difficult-to-hedge risks in illiquid markets
• MS Excel
• Programming (ideally using Python)
