As part of your role as a Outsourcing Manager you will be working to deliver a tailored service to clients through advice and complex record management. You will also be working closely with clients to recommend the best accounting software for their business and advising on requirements of their bookkeeping, VAT and management accounts preparation. As a manager, you will be involved in department work planning, appraisals and directly guiding more junior team members to provide both technical and day to day guidance to support their journey.

As part of the management team, your journey will continue via mentorship by the senior management team to provide soft skills development such as more effective client management and staff management.  Personal coaching will continue as your journey continues beyond formal qualifications which can be tailored to your own individual aspirations and can even include mentorship as you plot a route to Director/Partner.

"This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to move away from year-end compliance and be involved in real time accounts advisory for a fast paced top 10 firm. The role will be varied and exciting and will encompass management accounts, VAT, business advisory, software migrations, software research, efficiency reviews as well as helping to develop and grow our a fantastic Outsourcing team.

The job will be a hybrid role with at least three days each week working in our newly refurbished Portsmouth Office. The ideal person for this role would be someone comfortable in a fast paced environment who enjoys management accounts and client advisory and who has an enthusiasm for improving the efficiency in the way we work. This is also a great opportunity to develop and progress their people management and department management experience.

The individual will be working closely with the assistant manager, senior manager and Outsourcing partner to ensure guidance, mentoring and progression are considered at all stages. "
