Job Details

The Client Development team is responsible for the delivery of the User Interface for the Sky Glass TV, Sky Q set top box and all other connected platforms. You will be delivering robust and creative solutions to demanding and often immovable deadlines.


What you'll do:

* Be a servant leader and coach to the team and facilitate regular team ceremonies.
* Impart confidence in the team in their capability to achieve success.
* Clarity - Create and maintain a delivery plan with milestones and priorities, taking into account Product scope, available resources and other dependencies. Work with the team to assess any impact to the plan and keep relevant stakeholders updated.
* Collaborate with the Product leads and cross-programme technical and non-technical teams to plan and deliver new features and functionality.
* Assist in the recruitment process across the delivery function.
* Operational excellence - balance effort between reliable services and delivery commitment. Ensure high quality support culture in the team. Drive continuous improvement through tooling and prioritised corrective actions.


What you'll bring:

* In depth understanding of Agile values and practices, specifically should have an excellent understanding of SCRUM
* Demonstrable experience of delivering enterprise-scale development projects.
* Exemplary communication and people skills, in a technical or non-technical context with teams and stakeholders.
* Solid understanding of software development processes and procedures
* Solid understanding of continuous delivery & integration, iterative development, incremental delivery and the value of metrics
* Solid technical background required. Good understanding of continuous delivery, support best practices, technical debt, software architecture, scaling, DevOps, etc.
