Job Description

 

Trading Operations Assistant
6month Fixed Term Contract

To support the team with the planning and delivery of trading communications across the WHSmith group in line with the Trading Communications Strategy.

 

Main accountabilities;


• Support the delivery of the communication strategy for trading
• Main point of contact between trading, operations and stores relating to communications
queries
• Coordination of key campaign communication
• Ensuring delivery of communications in line with critical path
• Providing key support on commercial activities i.e. range reviews, seasonal campaigns to
ensure consistent messaging across communications
• Administration support for Trading Operations Controller
• Responsible for key outputs and changes to communications, liaising with operations and
trading teams to ensure communications delivered to required timescales.
• Support to wider trading and marketing teams
Skills needed;
• Ability to manage a variety of workstreams and working to set deadlines
• Confident communicator able to engage at all levels
• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
• Good levels of computer skills, especially MS Excel
