This is a great opportunity to join our Technology - Content Supply Platforms.

Our team develops and operates Sky's Broadcast infrastructure and content delivery systems across DTH, On Demand and OTT delivery platforms. The successful candidate will work with a team of highly skilled Developers, Test and Reliability engineers, collectively ensuring that the right content arrives at the right destination at the right time.

What you'll do:
  • Turn high-level business and technical requirements into a detailed and well organised and prioritized product backlog

  • Work collaboratively with other Analysts in the department, Central Analysis team, Central Architecture team, business teams and other stakeholders

  • Work directly with the scrum team throughout the software delivery lifecycle demonstrating exceptional judgement to enable the creation of high-quality, robust software that meets the needs of the business

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects which are at various stages delivery

  • Run requirement breakdown and estimation sessions with the team

  • Become a subject matter expert and authority for the applications and projects you work on

  • Identify key risks and issues and ensure they are escalated to Delivery Manager and/or Scrum Master

  • Create a solid foundation for agile development to thrive by providing clear direction, meticulous understanding, and strong purpose as standard

What you'll bring:

  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to logically analyse complex requirements, data sets, processes, and systems

  • Experience of working in an Agile development cycle, be able to write good user stories and acceptance criteria

  • Appreciation of how different systems interact with each other through mechanisms such as, APIs, Message Queues etc, experience of working knowledge of SQL and analysing the data

  • The ability to define and documenting requirements, interpret and modify technical documentation including flow charts, sequence diagrams and API responses and communicate them confidently to others

  • Strong collaboration and facilitation skills, the ability to bring people together to work towards a shared goal

  • Great communication and interpersonal skills, confidence in presenting to audiences from a variety of backgrounds and levels of understanding, spanning Product and Technology.

  • Motivation to learn, make improvements, and to help the team grow and improve.

  • Experience of Broadcast domain preferable.
