In its second year, workingwise.co.uk launched its #AgeDiversity campaign which includes National Older Workers Week. Drawing on research and best practice, its aim is to help organisations develop policies and procedures that both attract and retain older workers and ensure their organisation is age diverse. Our last event was : Older Workers - The Action Plan.

Overview

The final event, during National Older Workers week, focused on concrete steps employers can take to ensure that they are truly age-inclusive and that they tap into all the talent and experience on offer. We were joined by the National Older Workers Week sponsor the Phoenix Group and covered:

  • Key learnings from NOWW
  • How employers can commit to taking action on age diversity
  • Specific actions employers can take from recruitment to developing an age-inclusive culture

Attendees have access to an Action Plan Toolkit that will highlight best practice and give some practical suggestions of how to improve age diversity in their organisation and ensure they are not overlooking talent.
