Event: Older Workers – Challenges & Insights

In its second year, workingwise.co.uk has launched its #AgeDiversity campaign which includes National Older Workers Week. Drawing on research and best practice, its aim is to help organisations develop policies and procedures that both attract and retain older workers and ensure their organisation is age diverse. Here you can watch our first event: Older Workers – Challenges and Insights.

Older Workers: Challenges & Insights

This online event was held on 23rd November 2022 as part of National Older Workers Week 2022.

Watch this if you are an….

HR professional, business owner or leader of people.

Overview of event

The first event: Older Workers: Challenges & Insights offered an up-to-date view on the current situation to help people leaders implement and improve age diversity policies and practices.

Along with revealing the results of our annual workingwise.co.uk candidate survey, we also discussed common issues that older workers face within the workplace.

We were joined by experts in this field including: Kirstie Donnelly, Chief Executive at the City & Guilds Group; Caroline Waters, Deputy Chair of the EHRC and Vice President of Carers UK and Patrick Thomson, formerly from the Centre of Ageing Better, now Head of Research Analysis and Policy at Phoenix Insights.
